On June 13th, 2019, I will have the great pleasure to participate for the fist time, in collaboration with Benoit Lalonde, the GURU of the Organizational Project Management practice, in the Spark the Change Montreal Conference 2019!

We will be facilitating the following session: “Surpassing the Boundaries of Project and Change Management. Becoming a key “Solution Integrator” for Business Success”.

This opportunity is very special to me. I’ve been introduced to Benoit Lalonde when he was President of Project Management Institute (PMI) of Montreal, position that he held for more than 10 years. During his mandate, PMI-Montreal has been rewarded as best chapter of the years 2014 and 2016 and Benoit received a special price as “Volunteer of the year” from PMI International.

Benoit is recognized locally and internationally as a reference in the Project Management field, not only for his professional strengths but also for his great dynamism, his open-mindedness and his “joie de vivre”!

At a more personal level, last year, May 3rd, 2018, when I launched my book, “Immigrant : A Bumpy or Smood Road“, I invited Benoit as a very special guest. He is a key contributor to my integration as an immigrant in Quebec.

Since I met him, I’ve always received, from him and his team, an open welcome to different strategic committees, great advices and support based on Project Management best practices. It helps me a lot during my role as People Change Management Director at Bombardier.

Benoit Lalonde and his PMI team offered were the gateway to different cultures and diversities, they had a profound willingness to help others. With their help, we set-up a 3 hours Transition workshop with PMI Montreal to give a proper welcome to Project Managers from different countries and help them during their integration journey. Currently, this program is still running, held by Alcides Santopietro and sponsored by Louise Fournier, PMI General Director. The impact is more than positive and those talented Project Managers from all around the world can start and succeed in their new life in Quebec (Special Thanks to PMI Montreal!).

I am very excited to have this extraordinary opportunity to lead a joint session at the Spark the change Conference 2019. I’m sure that we will shed light on the importance of integrating, creating and innovating in the areas of Change and Project Management, regardless whether the transformation context is personal or organizational!

I am looking forward to June 13th!
